Patient discharge is done based on clinical condition of the patient and advise by the treating consultant.
Discharge process takes 2 hours which includes medicine replacement, billing, discharge summary preparation and explanation to patient about home care and on discharge medicines.
In case of Mediclaim, discharge time extends as per the time required by the insurance company for the claim approval.
Discharges are done until 3 PM for the Mediclaim patients. No discharges after 3 PM for Mediclaim patients.
On holidays there will not be any discharge advised.
