The department of Neurology at Joshi Hospital consists of Outpatient Department (OPD) and In-Patient services. Regular Neurology OPD services are conducted on all weekdays for common neurological disorders such as Headache, Epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Brain Stroke, Parkinsons Disease, Paraplegia, Neuropathy, Myelopathy and Myasthenia Gravis. In addition, Speciality clinics such as Sleep and Memory Clinic are held once a week.
All required Laboratory investigations are available in-house. An Electrophysiology lab is also available for EEG, Portable EEG, EMG-NCV, BERA, VEP, SSEP, Blink Reflex. Polysomnography facilities are available as required.
Radiology Services are available from STAR Imaging: CT Scan, CT Angiography, MRI, Functional MRI, MR Angiography, Venography, Ultrasonography, Carotid Doppler.

Rapid Response Stroke Team for Acute Brain Stroke: Joshi Hospital is one of the few institutes in Pune City with a code white for Neurological Emergencies, especially Brain Stroke. The team consists of Casualty Medical Officers, 24 hours available ICU Team, Expert Neurologists, Intensivists and Physicians. Brain Imaging is done on priority basis for code white patients.
Thrombolysis is available immediately for apt patients.
ICU Facility: Ventilators for other Neurological Emergencies such as Meningoencephalitis, Epilepsy, Status Epilepticus, Guillan-Barre Syndrome, Myasthenic crisis etc. are also available.
Neurologists: Consultant Neurologists with good clinical skills are available at Joshi Hospital every day for OPD as well as in-patient referrals and consultations.
Neurosurgeons: Back up for Emergency Surgeries in Brain Stroke are also performed at Joshi Hospital.
Interventional Neuroradiologist: With a fully developed Cath Lab support for neuro-interventions such as Carotid Angioplasty and Stenting, Embolization procedures and Mechanical Thrombectomy.
